On August 10th, 2011 at the National Midstream Conference, plans were announced to build a pipeline across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Indian Ocean to supply oil for American military bases. Jon Sudders of XOM Petroleum stated, "America has a problem with using too much foreign oil. With military bases in Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Qatar, Norway, Japan, and England we can make a difference and increase national security for the United States."
The Pacific Pipeline will go from the oil fields in Alaska across the Pacific to a refinery near a US military base in Japan. The Trans Oceanic Pipeline will go across the Atlantic Ocean and into the Indian Ocean to supply military bases in Arab gulf states and Iraq. The Africanas Pipeline will begin in the Gulf of Mexico to supply military operations to fuel the jets, tanks, etc. that are used in the war in the North African nation of Libya. The Atlantic North Sea Pipeline will begin in the Gulf of Mexico and stretch out to countries that are in the North Sea like England and Norway.
Jon Sudders ended with, "Americans need to know about the amount of oil used for American military operations, and that is our industries mission. We can increase drilling in the United States so we won't need to use petroleum from oil producing nations where the US has military bases. This is our industries way of giving back to our number one customer, the US Department of Defense. We are also going to demand all American companies drilling overseas to turn foreign oil fields into storage facilities for oil used for military operations."

Obama Waste Tax Payer’s Dollars on Side Dishes
On August 8th, President Obama went to dinner with his family after a heavy speech about the national debt crisis and the lowering of the US credit rating by S&P. At around 8pm he went with his family to Buddy BBQ, ordered a rack of ribs for his family to share. Everyone in his family needs to eat. However, side dishes are not necessary, and tax payers money was spent on French fries and Collared Greens. Republican congressman of Illinois John Budwick stated “ordering side dishes for each family member of course is not enough to raise the debt by itself. However, when you count all this unnecessary spending it all adds up.”
Waste Management Firms Lobby Congress to "Spill Baby Spill"
On November 8th, 2011 executives at the Waste Management Association of America spoke on Capital Hill about the need to increase oil spilling in the Gulf of Mexico to create jobs. Steve Senton, of the Garbage Management Corporation stated “the BP Deep Horizon Rig only had 36 people working on the platform. As a result of the spill our company alone has hired 300 people to clean up the mess. That is almost ten times the amount of jobs that the oil drilling created.”
There was also mention about how many jobs were created indirectly. For example, BP has hired 66 new staff members in the Public Relations department of the company (twice as much as the oil rig that spilled), and the number of potential lawsuits has created many jobs for recent law school graduates.
John Smothers, a representative at BP responded with "our platform had as many as 36 people working on the rig. Which is more than 1/3 of the amount of people in my high school graduating class in Brinton, North Dakota. We need to drill in the gulf in order to provide fuel to the wars in America fought in the Middle-East, North Africa, and to fuel our military bases in Germany, Japan, and Poland. Where do you think all that fuel is coming from? America of course. This is also an issue of national security. Our spilled 236,000,000 barrels of oil in the gulf. This is a small amount compared to the amount of oil used and needed for US military operations."
Steve Senton continued with “our company has doubled the amount of Civil and Environmental Engineers working for our company since the spill. With more spilling in the gulf we can encourage green technology by using the millions of barrels of crude oil spilled per day to be used for new forms of alternative energy from water waste and salt.”
